Ambuj has had a very successful career managing large hotels around the world. He had brought all his expertise and a warm heart for hospitality to his special place right by the beach in Whitianga.
The setting is beautiful, looking out to the ocean and the islands. The suite was very nicely done, really spacious and super comfortable. We greatly enjoyed the gardens right at our door, looking over the pool to the sea.
The pool is a fantastic temperature, which must cost Ambuj a lot, but that's indicative of his extra-mile style. He's a great cook too. The meal he brought us on our last night was superb - and just the fact he did that for us really touched us.
This was the first time we've had this kind of holiday close to home in New Zealand. We usually go overseas. My hopes for Coromandel accommodation weren't that high, but it turns out we got to spend a wonderful week in one of the nicest places we've ever stayed, anywhere.

My husband and I stayed here for a few nights in may 2013. It is a lovely place, everything is of a very high standard, nice modern furniture, comfy lounge suite. We had a fully equipped kitchen in our one bedroom unit. The kitchen had everything you would need, quality cookware and lovely crockery. The bathroom was gorgeous with a lovely spa bath. Immaculately clean throughout the unit. Comfy bed and great room service daily.
The minder at the time was so helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend to anyone wanting a special place to stay with a lovely beach view, pool and even mini putt golf. Thanks for a lovely stay.

We stayed 2 nights at the end of April. The owner is very nice and helpful! Our room was clean, big, with modern furnitures. We had a breathtaking view on the beach which is located at 5 min on walk. It was a good place to relax and spend memorable moments!
